What Veriq AI costs
Current as of 31 August 2026 · all figures in Indian rupees
Veriq AI is compliance reminder and document collection software for Indian chartered accountancy firms. There is one price and every firm gets the whole system. This page states it in full, including the arithmetic per client, and the point below which we would tell you not to buy it.
01 What the engagement fee buys
The engagement fee is work performed, not a deposit and not a joining fee. It covers taking your client list in whatever format you keep it — an Excel file, a Tally export, a shared sheet with four years of edits in it — and turning it into a working system:
- Importing and mapping the client list. Formatting it is our work, not yours.
- Connecting your Google account, your Gmail and your WhatsApp number, including the Meta business verification WhatsApp requires.
- Deriving every client's filing profile and testing each branch end to end before a single message goes out.
- Sitting with your senior clerk until the office can run it without us.
- Your first month of service.
It is charged once. If you move from monthly to annual later, or your client book doubles, there is no second engagement fee — the build has already happened.
02 What it works out to per client
The price does not move with your client count, so the per-client figure falls as the book grows. Year one includes the engagement fee; year two onward is the retainer alone.
| Recurring clients | Year one, per client | Year two on, per client | Year two on, per client / month |
|---|---|---|---|
| 100 | ₹1,589 | ₹1,079 | ₹90 |
| 150 | ₹1,059 | ₹719 | ₹60 |
| 200 | ₹794 | ₹539 | ₹45 |
| 300 | ₹530 | ₹360 | ₹30 |
| 500 | ₹318 | ₹216 | ₹18 |
Read the last column against what you bill a client in a year. At two hundred clients Veriq costs ₹45 per client per month from the second year — less than the cost of one junior spending ten minutes chasing that client's bank statement.
03 The comparison that actually matters
Veriq is not really competing with other software. It is competing with the person in your office who currently does the chasing, or with the person you will have to hire when the client book grows past what the present team can follow up by hand.
| What it costs | Per month | Year one | Year two on |
|---|---|---|---|
| A paid junior doing follow-up | ₹12,500 | ₹1,50,000 | ₹1,50,000 |
| A senior whose time it frees | ₹35,000 | ₹4,20,000 | ₹4,20,000 |
| Veriq AI | ₹8,990 | ₹1,58,880 | ₹1,07,880 |
In year one Veriq costs about what a junior costs. From year two it costs roughly seventy per cent of one, and it does not take leave, does not forget the second follow-up, and does not leave in March taking the client relationships with it.
The honest version of the break-even: at ₹8,990 a month against a ₹12,500 junior, Veriq has to absorb about three-quarters of one person's follow-up workload to pay for itself. For most firms in the 100–500 client range the trigger is not replacing someone who is already there — it is not having to hire the next one as the book grows.
04 Where it stops being worth it
We would rather say this on a public page than discover it together in month three.
- Under about 100 recurring compliance clients, the arithmetic is hard to justify. At that size the chasing is usually still inside one person's head and it fits there. If you tell us your book is 60 clients, we will tell you to wait.
- Between 100 and 500, which is where most multi-partner Indian practices sit, this is normally the cheaper of the two ways to get the chasing done.
- Above 500, the per-client cost drops under ₹20 a month and the question stops being price and starts being whether your register is clean enough to build on.
- If your firm does not run on recurring statutory work — mostly one-off advisory, valuations, litigation support — there is no calendar to generate and Veriq has little to do.
05 What is not charged extra
These are the things firms most often expect to find in a second invoice. There isn't one.
- Client count. Nothing is counted per client. A firm with 400 pays what a firm with 120 pays, and adding fifty changes nothing.
- Staff logins. Nothing is counted per seat. Everyone in the office who needs the console gets it.
- Tiers. There are none. There is no edition with the good features in it — every firm gets the whole system.
- Data export. There is nothing to export and nothing to charge for releasing. Your register sits in your own Google account from the first day to the last.
- A second engagement fee. Charged once, whatever changes afterwards.
- Support. Included in the retainer. It is a service, not a licence with a support contract bolted to it.
The one cost that sits outside the retainer is WhatsApp itself. Because reminders go from your firm's own verified number, Meta bills those message charges to your own WhatsApp Business account directly. Veriq does not resell them and does not mark them up. Indian utility-template messages are priced in paise, so a few hundred clients typically comes to a low three-figure amount a month. Email and Telegram carry no per-message cost at all.
06 Questions about the money
Is the engagement fee negotiable?
It is the build, and the build is the same amount of work whichever firm buys it, so there is not much room in it. What we can do is show you the system running on your own client list before you pay anything: bring five real clients to the demo and we generate their calendar live. If it does not do what this page says, there is nothing to negotiate about.
Why is the setup fee larger than the monthly?
Because the work is front-loaded and we would rather price it honestly than bury it in an inflated retainer. Most of the labour in this service happens before a single reminder goes out. The alternative — a small joining fee and a large monthly — costs a firm that stays more than two years considerably more.
What happens if we outgrow it?
Nothing on the invoice. There is no tier above this one to be moved into, which is the point of not having tiers.
Is there a contract or lock-in?
The monthly plan stops when you stop paying it. Your register is in your own Google account throughout, so leaving is a matter of withdrawing our access, not extracting your data from us. The annual plan is prepaid for the year by definition.
What is actually guaranteed?
If a date in your approved compliance calendar passes without Veriq alerting you, that month is free. That is deliberately narrow: we guarantee the alert, not the filing. Filing is professional work and it stays with your firm. The full wording is in the terms of service.
07 See it on your own client list
Thirty minutes on Google Meet. Bring five real clients and we generate their statutory calendar live, on the call, from your own data. Nothing is installed and nothing is signed.
Veriq AI is a workflow and reminder system for accountancy practices. It is not a chartered accountant, it does not provide tax advice, and it does not file returns. The statutory rules behind your calendar are configurable and must be reviewed and approved by your own practising CA before the calendar goes live.
